The SSB Interview is the second stage of selection after clearing NDA, CDS, or AFCAT written exams. It’s a 5-day personality assessment conducted at SSB centers like Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, and more.

Day 0: Reporting
- Candidates report to the selection center
- Documents are verified, and chest numbers are assigned
Day 1: Screening Test
- OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating Test): Verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions
- PPDT (Picture Perception and Discussion Test): Write a story based on a picture, followed by a group discussion
Tip: Practice story writing in 4 minutes and improve narration skills
Day 2: Psychology Tests
- TAT (Thematic Apperception Test) – 12 pictures, 1 blank slide
- WAT (Word Association Test) – 60 words, 15 sec each
- SRT (Situation Reaction Test) – 60 situations
- SDT (Self Description Test)

Medicals & Final Merit
If you are recommended, you go through a medical test, and finally a merit list is prepared based on your written + SSB scores.
